Shepherd’s Hut - Stay at Cottage Farm

We are excited to be able to offer accommodation here at the farm in our new shepherd’s hut - many of you have asked in the past, so your wish is our command! We have been working hard to get it ready - some of you will have seen it in disrepair after its delivery - it looks very different now! Sitting on the farm grounds, it overlooks the stunning Rila mountains. We are close to Tsari Mali Grad, a restored Roman Fort, with a nearby ethnographic museum and beautiful painted church; Belchin Bani, with its lovely hot water spring baths and pools; Borovets for skiing and summer walking/cycling; Lake Iskar, with beautiful views and lake facilities; Rila mountain walks; horse riding stables and surrounded by gorgeous countryside - it really is stunning and hard to beat. If you're exploring the region, or joining us for a visit, you can stay over and relax!

It’s the perfect place to escape your everyday pressures and spend time with your loved one in peace and quiet, so turn off the ‘phone, get away from the computer and relax with a glass of wine and play one of our traditional board games while you listen to the birds singing in the clean mountain air…

The hut is quite spacious at 7m x 3m and has a pretty, antique wood burner (and lots of insulation) to keep it warm, it has a toilet/shower room and double bed, in a separate bedroom. It’s decorated in cosy Cottage Farm style, with all of the comforts you’d expect.
